Where data lives

Application data sits on a dedicated server in the EU (Helsinki) in a single MariaDB database with workspace-level isolation. Backups are encrypted before they leave the host; uploaded documents go to object storage outside the public web root.

Retention

Your records persist for as long as your workspace exists — including after a subscription ends. On account deletion, personal identity data is removed; entries you contributed to shared workspaces remain in those books (they are the workspace's records, not yours alone).

Your rights

You can export your financial data from the app at any time, correct your profile, and request account deletion. Workspace owners govern member data within their workspace; workspace-level deletion is an owner action.

Machine-generated content

OCR and AI suggestions are drafts until a human confirms them — they never post to the ledger on their own.

Incidents

If a breach ever touches your data, affected owners are notified through the contact details on their accounts.
